Hi! I’m Luke Żammit, or better known online as @AlphaWings.
This little corner of the internet originally started as a place to share my micro-fiction; tiny stories written in as few words as possible, yet hopefully painting a much bigger picture.
Now in 2026, I’m giving it a new chapter.
My background is in media production, but my curiosity has always taken me in different directions. From 3D printing and electronics to DIY projects, repairs, creative experiments, and the occasional unusual idea that I simply have to try.
Much of what I know about making and electronics I’ve learnt through hands-on experimentation, trial and error, and a healthy dose of curiosity.
I have a particular fascination with giving discarded things a second life. You’ll often find me diving through e-waste bins, salvaging forgotten electronics, or collecting bits and pieces that friends would otherwise throw away. What looks like trash to someone else might just be the missing piece of my next project.
I believe creativity doesn’t have to be expensive, technology doesn’t always have to be new, and learning shouldn’t always be limited to a classroom. I’m particularly interested in sustainability, the circular economy, and how sharing knowledge and practical skills can help us rethink our relationship with waste.
This website is where I’ll share what I’m making, fixing, learning, and experimenting with. Not as an expert, but as someone who enjoys figuring things out and hopefully inspiring others to give it a try too.
And who knows? There might still be the occasional tiny story or two along the way.
